State Baseball Send-off
Your Pecatonica High School Varsity Baseball team travels to Appleton next week to play in the State Semifinal game. The game is the second game on the schedule. It follows the first Division 4 game, which will begin at 9:00 a.m.
In an effort to time it best with the baseball team’s departure, we are holding a send-off/pep rally for the players, managers, and coaches at the ball diamond. All are invited to come down to McKellar Park, this Monday (June 12), at 10:30 a.m. We will recognize the members of the program at their home park before they depart for their competition at State.
Here is the state information that has been shared out previously:

Favorite Teacher & Why: My favorite teachers were Ms Sciborski and Mr Roberts, although I never really understood the science that we were learning they always found a way to make it fun. I will never forget that saucer thing that filed with air that we rode down the hall with Ms Sciborksi. Mr Roberts was always there for you, no matter if you needed to laugh, cry, or get serious and grind out homework and studying. He always held me accountable for my homework and made sure I got it done. Thank you Mr Roberts for the countless zoology walks around the school, gross dissections, and for always telling me and McKenna that we did a good job singing the Friday Song, Karaoke Style, even though we were always off beat and singing the wrong words.
Favorite Pec Memory: My favorite memory happened because I joined the Golf Team Sophomore year with my best friends (3 years later and were still going strong). We were headed to practice one day when all of a sudden we ran over a goose with the school van. Everyone was in shock for a minute then we all died laughing. We vowed that we would never speak of it again, but this ones for you Cher, thanks so much for all the laughs, talks, and stories over the last 3 seasons.
Advice for Underclassmen: My advice for underclassman is have fun. Take classes that are fun and find the friends that you love being around.
Senior Spotlight: Izabella Johnson
Future Plans: Work until I get enough money to move away
Favorite Teacher & Why: Mrs. Johns because she is understanding
Favorite Pec Memory: My favorite memory is when I tumbled down the lunch room stairs
Advice for Underclassmen: Just get your homework done right away you will see that its not that hard instead of building it up and having to struggle to get them all done
