Hollandale, WI – Pecatonica School District will celebrate the replacement of the playground equipment at t Pecatonica Elementary School with a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 6 at 2:30 p.m. Following the ribbon cutting, there will be a groundbreaking ceremony for the new building addition that will include classrooms and a new gymnasium. Both ceremonies will be held on site at Pecatonica Elementary School at 701 School Road in Hollandale.
Both ceremonies are open to members of the community, school alumni, village boards, representatives from the district, Board of Education, and the district’s architectural and construction partners.
These projects were approved by District taxpayers in 2023 with an $18.8 million facilities referendum which includes construction of additions, including for classrooms and a gymnasium, renovations, infrastructure replacement, site and capital maintenance improvements at the Elementary School.
