My name is Ashley Bredeson and I will be Camp Pecatonica’s Director this summer. I have been an employee at Pecatonica Elementary for 6 years and 4 years as Camp Pecatonica Director. I am super excited to get this summer going!

Our Philosophy
It is our philosophy that your child’s creativity and self-esteem is nurtured. It is our goal to promote learning of new ideas and concepts. At the end of the day our focus is that each child will find that learning in itself is an exciting and enriching adventure. We will take a traditional approach to child care and focus on creating a stimulating, interactive learning centered environment, blending themed play with a purpose.

Camp Age Requirements
Children ages 5 years of age (and have completed 4K) through 12 years of age are eligible to participate. Children must be potty-trained, function independently, self-regulate their behavior, follow adult directions, have the stamina to engage in activities for a full day without napping, be self-sufficient, and remain within designated areas.
Camp Pec offers a mixed-age environment with staffing ratios of approximately one adult to 18 children.
Camp Dates & Times
Camp Pecatonica will run from JUNE 9th thru AUGUST 13th.
Camp hours will be 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
